This article — published on my spun-off F1 website, vee8 — was an overview of my take on events, which was described as “fresh insight” by top F1 journalist James Allen.
I had spotted some interesting comments made by the CEO of the McLaren F1 team Martin Whitmarsh regarding a controversy involving the team following the 2009 Australian Grand Prix. I left a comment on the blog of James Allen, who went on to use it as the basis of a post, ‘Fresh insight into McLaren case‘.
Following this, a tape of the interview in question was requested by the FIA and my insight was viewed as significant by The Telegraph.
