This is just a quick post to say that after around a year-and-a-half running the vee8 website, it has amassed over 1,000 posts. (This includes the daily news updates and Twitter digests as well as the features.)

1,000 is a hefty milestone for this website to have reached. But I know I haven’t been able to update it as often as I would like. Real life intervenes, and things on that front are still pretty uncertain.

But despite the sporadic nature of my updates, I am glad to have attracted a loyal readership from across the world. I enjoy the debates in the comment sections. This site wouldn’t be the same without you all.

Thanks to everyone who reads — your patronage is much appreciated.

For anyone wondering, the 1,000th post was this Twitter digest.

And while I get the chance, in case anyone doesn’t know you can catch my main website ‘doctorvee’, where I write about subjects other than F1.

    Thank you for investing your time in this blog, it is a pleasure to follow. The combination of news digests, unbiased opinion and sound analysis makes this blog one of the only two F1-blogs that I’m subscribed to (the other one is in Spanish and I know that he also reads this one).

    Your posts were what got me hooked on the whole ‘F1 online’ thing. So I know who to blame for the countless hours spent hunched over a computer :)
