That was interesting too… Maybe that had been mentioned in an earlier race, but I hadn’t heard it. And during the Kov/Bar confrontations in lap 7, Brundle said:

What do we think about that? The KERS got him [Kovi] back past… Do we think that’s brilliant driving? Do we think that’s good racing?….

I think Brundle was asking sincerely! Like Bernie, he’s just following the market. ‘Fans say they want overtaking, but will they be satisfied with this?’

Moments later, Barichello spun without injury or damage, so presumably that was good clean fun. But I have no idea how to answer the question, and doubt that anyone in the world can speak for all the fans.

The spins and taps from Barichello were forgivable, but seeing him stall out at the start again was embarrassing. We shouldn’t have to worry that a guy is “on his feet” in the first two seconds!
