"He may not be the nicest person."

There you go again!
Have you met him then?
Do you hang out with him?
What's with the vendetta?
Met Schumey once, totally charming guy - I had my preconceptions, I thought I wouldn't be able to stand him and was totally wrong!
I'm sure Lewis is a nicer person than you and he doesn't spout crap on a blog all the time.
Noticed you wrote that in green.

The only difficulty i have with this blog is that instead of decalring your love for alonso at the outset, you set out to appear neutral...an obvious lie in my opinion.

Now, iam a british red haired white lady of scottish and welsh descent but what i cant understand is why we british can't support our own. Or maybe is because this guy hamilton doesnt fit into our racial profile?
I went to malaga in august and was called a hamilton whore cause i was wearing a cap with his name. The spanish press is completely biased in support of alonso and there is total support by all and almost rabid and racist hate of hamilton. Why cant we support our heroes?

If its true that the FIA's new evidence is really the fabrication of an Italian journalist, the whole matter will have become mroe surreal than anyone could have foreseen.

The race was a lot better than I thought it would be, although nowhere near as close as the IndyCar race that followed it last night! ;)

There was another example of poor play on ITV's part on Saturday though - James Allen seems convinced that all drivers are exactly the same, all as experienced as each other and all as good a driver as each other.

When Alonso was comfortably ahead of Hamilton, he reckoned it must all be down to fuel - well as we saw in the race it wasn't, Alonso is simply better than Hamilton at this moment in time. Is this because he genuinely is better, or because he had set up his car better and didn't share that information with Hamilton? We'll never know.

As for Lewis, he doesn't do the usual thing of catching someone up, sitting behind them for a few laps and then going for an overtake - he simply catches them and then tries to overtake as soon as possible. Alonso may not have tried that, he may have been more wary of having a collision that put him out of the race.

But until someone doesn't move out the way and instead takes Hamilton out then I'm sure he will continue to do his best to overtake people as and when he gets the chance - as he should.

Let's just hope both he and Alonso are on the grid for the remaining races!
