The Guardian: Cost of ID cards rockets by £840m.

Posted at almost exactly the same time as some guy said something we’ve known he was going to say for a whole year.

Update: Home Office Watch: Guess what they’re publishing today…:

It has just been announced in today’s parliamentary business that the ID cards cost report - which the government was legally obliged (I repeat, legally obliged) to publish 31 days ago - is to be published today.
