I looked at the http://www.helpinganimals.com/f-wildlifewarriors.asp site and stopped reading when it mentioned animals “personal space”. FFS. I have no feelings over SI dieing, I didn’t know him, I would be sorry to see RH unable to do Topgear but again I don’t know him so no reason to get upset.
The outpouring after SI death was too much, as someone said very dianaesque(again I didn’t give a toss about her either). What bothers me is that people who have shoved there grandparents in a nursing home to rot and wouldn’t even turn up at a family funeral would cry and wail at a person they don’t know dieing.

Guess you’re right Walker. But IMHO there a lot in difference between tormenting a crocodile and a Pagona Zonda (really fast car), even if it is for your own pleasure.
No doubt both guys knew what they where doing and what risks they were taking, and one bought the farm and one nearly did.
The clip where Steve waving his baby in front of the crocodiles is surrealistic, it makes me think of M.J. waving his child from a balcony (Berlin?) To top it Hammond had to strap one of his daughters in a child seat in the dragster!
