Oh man! The Conservatives have their work cut out at the next election now. He just lost the racist vote! (And the loony vote, and the fruitcake vote! That must only leave about a dozen left.
)
And as for Nigel Farage:
…in this day and age there are things you can’t call people and racist is one of them.
That’s just political correctness gone mad.

Hee-hee!
Don’t you just love it when the right-wing parties duke it out?!
Better still, I agree with Cameron – UKIP always has struck me as rascist – maybe not anti-”black”, but certainly anti-French/Italian/German. I’ve no time for their “little Englander” brand of politics anyway.
Nice to see that – in the Guardian article – the UKIP guy seem to imply that you can’t be rascist and have a “black” canidate – if they were anti-Scottish/Welsh that’d still be “rascist”. Someone lend him a dictionary, so he can look up the definitions of “rascist” and “bigot”!

I’m sure some of Mr Farage’s best friends are black.

I think you’ll find that rather than racist, UKIP are extremely nationalist; there being a subtle difference.

Yep okay, fair comment. I’ll still take a lot of convincing that they’re a serious party, and not just a group of “we don’t want any greasy foreigners” folk, sort of a more acceptable version of the BNP.
Still, since I’m pro-Europe and pro-devolution I’ll probably never agree with them…
On the main subject, I don’t see them getting an apology from the Tories, unless that’s Satan getting measured for ice-skates now.

Crossy, I wouldn’t argue with you – I was merely exercising my pedantry…
