Richard Whiteley has given me so many happy and entertaining viewing hours on countdown. I will miss his cheeriness and jokes. Sincere condolences to his family
I was on holiday when I heard the news of Richard Whiteley’s death. What a blow! He was self-effacing, very funny, beautifully politically incorrect and I shall miss him so very much.
