A point that I might have made in that post, but I can't remember if I did, is that the 'big four' countries are probably the countries who don't take it seriously enough. For eastern Europe winning something like the Eurovision Song Contest is probably still quite a big deal, whereas here it's just a bit of a joke. Radiohead were apparently going to be entering Eurovision, but packed it in when they realised they had to go through the whole qualifying process aswell. Yeah Nick that’s a good point. All it takes is one moderately high-profile act and decent songwriter to be teamed up and we'd probably walk it.
