The Conservative Party’s campaign appears to be failing once again. I’ve just been watching The Daily Politics, where it appears as though Michael Howard has been getting tough questions on his immigration policies when he’d rather not talk about them.
Other Conservatives want him to shut his trap about it, fearing that the Conservatives are beginning to sound to much like a single-issue party. They should know. Save the pound!
Funny though. Immigration seems to pop up quite often in vox-pops at the moment. I wonder if it’s become a Speak Your Brains issue?

Update: Incidentally, although to Conservatives may as well not bother worrying about us north of the border, people are far more worried about depopulation around here.
