I really hate people who moan about Chelsea Football Club all the time. I wouldn’t mind, but they always say the same thing, and it is totally ridiculous. “They haven’t won anything yet,” they whine, conveniently bypassing the minor fact that nobody else has won anything yet because it’s nowhere near the end of the season yet.

There was one on 6-0-6 just then.

Caller: They haven’t won anything yet, have they?

Alan Green: Well, the Carling Cup — and they’re eight points clear with a game in hand in the Premiership and they’re in the last eight of… [interrupted]

Caller: They haven’t won anything in Europe yet, have they?

Errrrr of course not, because the Champions League is only just into the quarter-finals stage. Clearly, any team that can beat Barcelona 4-2 is a great team.
