Scottish Labour candidates have been asked to trumpet Labour’s successes on issues which have nothing to do with Scotland.

LABOUR MPs have been instructed to bombard Scottish voters with pre-election boasts about falling NHS waiting lists, even though they have risen north of the Border.

In a gaffe which fuels concerns that Scots will be misled about health and education in the coming election campaign, MPs have been told to trumpet “New” Labour’s English waiting-list successes in a direct mail campaign.
