Ooh, look. The new Doves site is a blog – comments and everything. A vast improvement on the fiddly old Flash site.
I popped into MVC when I was down the High Street today, considering buying their new album. I was surprised to see that it was only £9.49. But then I saw the shelf above it – a special edition. I’m a complete sucker for special editions. But wait! There are two special editions! What? What am I supposed to do? The special special edition costs something like £17. That’s a bit much for an album that I don’t even know is going to be good.
I’m going to have to put off buying it just because I like fancy boxes.

Well, you won’t be able to do that anymore since MVC is closing. Real shame imho, cos they had some good deals going, and the staff were pretty friendly+ efficient. Don’t fancy having to schlep out to G’rothest to get my muso fix now!
Wonder how long the shop unit will remain empty, and what clothes boutique will get it! >-(

Indeed, it is quite terrible that MVC is closing. It’s the only decent place to buy music, DVDs or whatever. The only other places are Woolworths or WH Smith. No thanks. Looks like I’ll be buying everything off the internet from now on…
